Internship Job title: Botanical Formulation Intern           

Department / Division: Plant and Agriculture Innovation  

Hourly Range: $25.28

Location:                          Buena Park, CA (Onsite)

 

What’s special about this team: This team has the opportunity to harness the power of plants and bring them to the hands of consumers around the world. Our team explores the intersection of science, tradition, and creativity to design new and innovative ingredients from our Amway farms or partner farms. 

 

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: An intern in the Plant and Agriculture Innovation Team would have the opportunity to contribute to an innovative portfolio of plant ingredients by exploring our capabilities and broadening our expertise. 

 

An example of a typical project would be: Generating a new botanical ingredient idea. Exploring new extraction capabilities. Identifying sustainable sources of ingredients. 

 

Required skills and background: 

Desired Major: 

Plant/Agricultural Sciences (or related major)

Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering 

Desired Class Year: Rising Senior 

Desired Skills: Laboratory skills, research and data analysis, project management, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, innovation, attention to detail
