Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is a dedicated resource to Sales and AVW customer accounts.  The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with cross-discipline team members (sales, purchasing, accounting, engineering and manufacturing) to ensure all customer projects are on track for completion and will be delivered on time.   

 

Job Description:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for the day-to-day communication between customer and AVW. 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of customer projects.
  • Offer technical support and knowledge when needed. 
  • Handle order entry and quoting. 
  • Conduct weekly overview calls with customers.
  • Attending quarterly meetings and visits.
  • Closely monitor project progress and communicate effectively to customer. 
  • Work with engineering, to ensure technical drawings are complete and accurate. 
  • Problem solves – work with operations to resolve engineering and/or manufacturing questions that arise for projects.
  • Communicating and confirming logistics for outgoing customer shipments.
  • Confirm that all quality checks were completed before shipping.
  • Support and coordinate any RMA/RGA concerns, if needed.
  • Support and coordinate/reconcile any open invoices., if needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1 plus years project management experience or related field.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
