A Postdoctoral Associate position is available at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, in Dr. Zhibin Cui’s laboratory.
 

  • The post-doctoral fellow will examine the roles of genetic alterations (mutations, CNVs) in immunotherapy responsiveness in Oral / Head and Neck Cancer.
  • The post-doctoral fellow will carry both in vitro and in vivo assays to explore the functions of the most frequent mutations in oral / head and neck cancer development and therapy resistance.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a DDS/MD or PhD degree in biomedical science or related field with published experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mammalian cell culture, PCR, immunoblotting.
  • Animal (mice) working experience including drug treatment, tumor measurement, image, transgenic mice breeding and genotyping;
  • Transient transfection, lentiviral infection, stable line generation;
  • Molecular cloning: Gateway, Gibson, sgRNA et al;
  • Flow-cytometry: multiple channel FACS analysis, immune profiling;
  • Bioinformatic analysis: Python, R, data-mining, et al.
