Product Development Engineering Intern

Our Summer Intern program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, exposure to key leaders, group projects, time to build relationships with other Interns, and so much more!

Opportunity:  

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this position will have the opportunity to get hands on product development engineering and automation engineering experience within an assigned business unit. 

Specific Responsibilities:  

*Assist in various product design and testing activities as required. Upcoming projects include: 
- Various Fuel level Senders, Fuel Hangers with fuel pump. 
- Helping with New Innovation ideas & research. 

*Assist in various product validation activities as required, such as: 
- Molding trials 
- Dimensional evaluations 
- Functional testing 
- Secondary equipment design, and testing 

This position will be for a summer internship.  Virtual interviews will take place in November-December and the internship would start mid-May/early June and end in August.

Skills & Qualifications: 

*Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

*Familiar with MS Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

*Excellent written & verbal communication skills & the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization. 

*Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines. 

*Strong desire to learn and initiative to try new things.
