This person needs to be capable of working on "complicated systems" as well as being able to provide top tier customer/sales support. An ideal candidate will be very sports minded and enjoy an active lifestyle. This is a Sporting Manufacturing company that is known for their tennis rackets, string, pickleball paddles, and shoes/clothing.

Babolat is 5 days on site in Louisville. There is no hybrid or flexibility on this. However, throughout the day, there will be flexibility for lunch breaks, to go for run, hike, play tennis/pickleball, etc. Communication on this is key and hours will need to be made up.

· Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Tennis or sporting goods industry experience is a plus.
· Experience with Direct-to-Consumer sales/internet platforms, associated software, warranty process systems a plus.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work well within a team environment.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, and continued willingness to take initiative a must.
· Working knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Word Processing (Word) software is required.

Description

This is a customer support or sales support position that will be teamed up with one of Babolat\'s account managers. This role will partner very closely with that sales rep to input orders, check inventory, etc. They will also need to be able to support call in orders and deal with both happy and unhappy customers.

As the future Sales Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing world-class service to our Outside Sales team and an exceptional consumer experience with customers, dealers and OMNI channel touchpoints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Tennis background is a very much nice to have. They do not need to be a competitive player but a fan of the game is helpful. OR, a fan of pickleball or padel. Salesforce is what they use as well.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Provide all customers with excellent customer service.
· Partner with outside sales representatives to provide account in-office support.
· Answer customer calls and assist customers with orders, questions, and warranty claims. Ensure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge.
· Build and maintain customer relationships.
· Perform customer order entry.
· Monitor customer credit risk. If a customer is high-risk, notify the credit department before entering a new order.
· Evaluate and process all manufacturer defect and six-month outsole warranty claims.
· Inform manager of any new or unusual defects in products.
· Communicate with and support all departments.
· Collaborate with other sales support representatives to ensure the efficiency of the department.
· Collaborate with all other department representatives to ensure the efficiency of the company.
· Process customer sales credits, returns, and maintain approval records.
· Authorize credit card payments for appropriate customers.
