Applicants selected for the Intelligence Premier College Intern Program will begin their internship in the Summer of 2025.
The Premier College Intern Program is a 12-week paid summer internship that will give you an opportunity to work with Intelligence professionals and support real world projects. You will learn the basics of intelligence functions, have a custom training plan with a special project, attend a 3-day Intern Symposium, and receive senior leader mentoring.
Use your research and analytic skills to gather, evaluate, and use sources of information to inform decision makers. Our fast-paced internship will focus on building and improving your analysis, collection, targeting, and integration competencies.

The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) is the U.S. Air Force’s service intelligence center, the nation’s air and space intelligence center, and an operational wing in the Air Force ISR enterprise.
NASIC is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.

NASIC’s mission is to discover and characterize air, space, missile, and cyber threats to enable full-spectrum multi-domain operations, drive weapon system acquisition, and inform national defense policy. Following college graduation and completion of PCIP, you may qualify for a full-time paid position in the Intelligence PALACE Acquire (PAQ) Program.

Requirements:
All accredited degrees are reviewed; however, degrees in the fields of International Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, History, Engineering, Geography, Geospatial, Foreign Language, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social or Cultural Anthropology, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or in the Humanities, are preferred.
The Intelligence Premier College Intern Program is looking for candidates who can conduct research, are critical thinkers, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Conditions of employment:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- A full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- At least a 2.95 GPA
- At least 16 years of age
- May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties
- The employee must also sign a Statement of Understanding prior to occupying a DCIPS position
- A Top-Secret Clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Selectee must complete a Special Background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication by a determining authority. Failure to obtain and maintain this required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal from the agency.

Qualifications
You are a full-time enrolled junior pursing a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.95 GPA. Preferred fields of study are: Political Science, Economics, History, International Relations, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Geography, Geospatial, Foreign Language, Psychology or Criminal Justice, however all degrees will be considered.
