Position Summary: The role of the Program Manager Intern is to assist the Program Manager to successfully manage programs from customer inception through production launch. He/She assists in following the appropriate management system(s), which help ensure that all required program launch activities and quality planning activities take place during the development of the new and existing program(s). A Program Management Intern will be expected to support the Program Manager on various product quotes, following up on timing for tooling and equipment, preparing presentations for the Customer, and collecting quote data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to program management team and leadership as assigned
  • Ability to understand engineering changes and support PM to review with customer and suppliers
  • Prepare presentations for program management team using Excel and Power Point
  • Participate in core team meetings including the customer or suppliers
  • Utilize Faurecia Program Management System in support of program management team
  • Support the Program Manager in tracking different aspects of the Program (Master Planning, Single List of Issues, Program Management System milestones & deliverables, finance)
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for internal and customer leadership reporting on the technical, timing and economic field
  • Assist in organization of communications throughout the program lifecycle
  • Facilitate the liaison between countries/departments to ensure parts are delivered on time with the expected engineering and quality level
  • Contribute in the transition from development center to production plant
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the company
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
