Project Management & Grant Writing Intern - Idaho Hispanic Foundation (hybrid)

Overview of Organization: Supporting programs to elevate the Hispanic and other diverse communities across Idaho. www.idahohispanicfoundation.org 

Opportunity/Project:

  • Collaborate with the Idaho Hispanic Foundation (IHF) team on project management,
    grant writing, and community impact initiatives.
    • Brainstorm and implement creative strategies for new and ongoing events to engage
    stakeholders and elevate the Foundation's mission.
    • Build meaningful partnerships with businesses, civic organizations, and government
    entities.
    • Lead and contribute to the creation of one time and ongoing campaigns on social media
    platforms, blogs, press releases, and multimedia content and the organization's
    website to enhance outreach and visibility.
    • Play a key role in the development and submission of grants to secure funding for
    impactful programs.

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with excellent communication and social skill
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and events from start to finish.
  • Understand social media channels, willingness to learn online design and live streaming.
  • Organize their work effectively and be able to work independently.
  • Enjoy being creative, generating and participating in giving their ideas.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus but not required.

 Skills to be developed:

  • Event/Project management experience
  • Experience in marketing, communications, and public outreach
  • The ability to network and explore new career opportunities with our partners
  • Managing organizational and administrative tasks
  • Increase in professional communication skills
