Internship Overview
Welcome to our Spring 2025 Expo & Exhibition Liaison academic internship. Do you care deeply about the Economic strength of your State and the United States as a whole? Do you want to help American industries to expand their opportunities globally? Do you have a desire to gain insight into transnational business and promotions?
As an Expo & Exhibition coordinator, you will not only be able to gain valuable insight into industry developments at local, state, national, and international levels. But you will also be able to make professional contacts nationally and internationally as you support American industries. Interns of the Expo & Exhibition team will work personally with the President of I.R.D.I. Business Group®, LLC, who is the former Governor Appointee for California as an International Trade Specialist.
Expo & Exhibition functions are the gateway to global commerce. Support America`s local, state, and national industries.
All interns who complete their skills confirmation process will receive a Letter of Recommendation confirmation of skills and proficiency from the President of I.R.D.I. Business Group®, LLC, at the end of the 2025 semester.
Interns who have completed their skills confirmation of 3 months will be eligible to join paid projects.
Job offers will only be given to interns who have completed their skills confirmation review period.
Note: Due to the limited availability of college credit-earning intern positions, we prioritize selecting interns who have volunteered with us for at least 3 months and are currently enrolled for the spring 2025 semester. Proof of enrolment will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Outreach: Contact and establish relationships with trade and economic development organizations across Europe, South America, and Asia to facilitate participation in international expos and exhibitions.
- Research & Analysis: Gather insights on various industries and their showcasing methods on a global platform to inform strategic planning and execution.
- Opportunity Identification: Assess potential business opportunities for our clients, supporting their global market engagement and expansion efforts.
- Event Coordination: Assist in scheduling and managing attendee participation, ensuring seamless logistics and coordination for successful events.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled at your university pursuing a degree in Business, International Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in global trade, economics, international relations, and commerce.
- Must be an American citizen eligible to work in the United States legally. Proof of eligibility must be provided.
