Application and Recruitment Intern - UTAH
One Refugee is a 501(c)3 foundation focused on championing individuals from a refugee background to help them obtain an education and prepare for a professional future. Our 400+ scholars attend colleges or universities in Utah and Idaho. Each scholar receives individualized educational, professional, and financial support.
The Application and Recruitment Intern will assist the Utah staff with this mission by overseeing recruitment and applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. We look forward to welcoming a passionate intern to our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support One Refugee team members in reviewing, updating, and compiling data in Salesforce
- Take ownership of the application and recruitment process including marketing, reviewing applications, providing support to applicants, and reporting updates to the team
- Monitor and respond to email and perform other administrative duties
- Prepare materials and present information sessions to potential applicants and partner organizations
- Opportunities to help with additional programming

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work as a team-player, both individually and collaboratively
- Experience or interest in supporting culturally-diverse populations
- Experience in nonprofit or educational programming; excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible with people, deadlines, and technological needs
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff, students, and community partners
- Experience with Salesforce and Canva a plus
Hours: 10-15 weekly
Dates of Internship: Nov 4, 2024 - May 9th, 2025
Salary: $15/hour
