Outreach and Engagement Fellow

Work with Cooperative Energy Futures as a QVS Fellow!

About the position:

The outreach and engagement fellow will be tasked with aiding our team with outreach to the community. This outreach will be focused on helping people become members of our cooperative and saving money on their electricity bills in the process.

CEF is building an organization that allows people to actually own the energy that they produce. Because we're a co-op, when you sign up for a CEF subscription, you become a part-owner of the organization. We also present savings to each of our members & subscribers without having to own property or paying a large sum of money up-front, to own the solar gardens that are helping to produce their electricity, and to benefit from our growth as an organization over time.

We are a pioneer in the community solar field, working to help expand Minnesota's community solar program while making sure nobody is left behind. We place a special focus on low and moderate income communities, who make up a majority of the subscribers to our community solar gardens.

Beyond community solar, we're also building a program focused on bringing solar energy to affordable housing projects, as well as a program focused on energy efficiency for households across Minnesota.
