Job Description:
As a UI/UX Intern, you will play a key role in designing user-centric interfaces and experiences for our digital products. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to translate business requirements into visually appealing and intuitive user experiences. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to enhance your design skills, work on real-world projects, and contribute to creating innovative solutions that prioritize user engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and use data to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Work on improving the usability, accessibility, and functionality of existing products.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of UX research methods, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and user-centered design.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Knowledge of responsive design and web/mobile design principles.
- A portfolio showcasing previous design work or academic projects is a plus.
Skill Sets:
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- UX research, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive web and mobile design.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and user-centered design thinking.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
