Little League® International Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is seeking qualified candidates to join the video production efforts for the summer of 2025 at our headquarters location. The internship will run from approximately May to August and is subject to availability as candidates must be available to work during the 2025 Little League Baseball® World Series in mid-August. The hours typically follow normal business hours, Monday – Friday, and earns $15 per hour for up to 35 hours per week.
 

Acceptance into the internship is contingent on all applicable background checks. The preferred fields of study include Film/Video, Broadcast Journalism, Media Production, and other related fields.

 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VIDEO INTERN AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL
Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world’s most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the digital inner workings of a sports organization with a focus on video production. Reporting to the Video Coordinator, the successful candidate will assist the digital media team responsible for executing Little League’s video efforts leading up to and supporting the various Little League World Series events.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

 

  • Shooting and editing content for Little League digital platforms and video board
  • Pre-, post-, and on-site production assistance
  • Creating still and animated graphics for use on social media or in videos
  • Producing new content with current and archive broadcast footage
  • Uploading, tagging, and publishing clips on LittleLeague.org/videos
  • Spot-checking video for functionality and performance
  • Other video, digital media, or communications duties added as needed


 QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VIDEO INTERN:

 

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in preferred fields of study include Film/Video, Broadcast Journalism, Media Production, and other related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of video and content management systems for digital platforms
  • Required familiarity with baseball and softball – basic rules and gameplay, game situations, etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly with a high degree of comfort around computer systems, simple troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to craft engaging headlines and descriptions that fall within Little League’s style guidelines
  • Project management and customer service skills – ensure that all tasks are complete and manage vendors in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Working knowledge of DSLR and Cinema cameras for video, as well as microphones, and handheld audio recording devices
  • Basic knowledge of shot composition, lighting, and exposure
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro CC
  • Writing skills and knowledge of social media trends and strategies, Adobe After Effects and/or Photoshop are a plus.
  • Willingness to take direction, ask questions, and improve skill set.
