Tasks: The graduate assistant would work directly with the faculty who are teaching in our Teacher Leader Academies by organizing and maintaining IRB consent forms, organizing/cataloging data, interviewing participants (once trained), transcribing interview data, attending course planning and teaching sessions with faculty to scribe anecdotal notes, help coordinate events, etc.
Interested individuals would need to responsible and willing to work in and with schools alongside faculty and the dean of the college. They must be organized and have initiative. Experience with research is preferred but not required as we will assist them in developing those skills.
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Rebecca West Burns for additional information if needed at burns@kutztown.edu.
