Utility Compliance Intern

This unique internship provides students up front experience on Water Utility Compliance Inspections and Investigations. Students with an interest in public administration or chemistry are encouraged to apply. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist Utility Compliance Inspector
  • Field Inspections
  • Investigations
  • Read pressure gauges
  • Flow verifications
• Data logging and Documentation

• 1 Intern
• Students interested in learning water utility compliance and regulatory field

Duration and Time Commitments: 

• Continuously  Open for Academic Year and Summer
• Part-Time or Full-time Internship

You Can Gain: 

• Experience with Utility Compliance Inspections and Investigations
• Learn the basics of water distribution flows, chemistry, pressures and cross connections
• Water Utility Rules and Regulations pertaining to illegal cross connections and back flow preventions
• Course credit for appropriate academic course
