Public Relations, Social Media, and Marketing Coordinator

SPARKS is seeking a dynamic and proactive Public Relations, Social Media, and Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and execution of innovative public relations, social media, and marketing activities for our diverse client portfolio.  The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of specialty consumer lifestyle products (health/wellness, beauty, fashion, functional food & beverage, home, technology) and a genuine enthusiasm for gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of PR and marketing, from concept development to campaign execution. We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive work environment and excels at multitasking. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing, social media, and public relations campaigns tailored to each client's unique brand identity and business objectives.
  • Cultivate and leverage media relationships to secure high-profile national press placements, consistently exceeding client expectations for brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships with influential social media personalities and lifestyle brands, creating innovative cross-promotional initiatives that amplify client reach and engagement.
  • Craft compelling, on-brand marketing collateral across various formats, including product descriptions, brand campaigns, press releases, and promotional materials, ensuring consistent messaging and tone.
  • Compose personalized, persuasive email pitches to effectively engage media outlets, influencers, and potential partners, driving increased coverage and collaboration opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture a robust network of industry contacts, including journalists, bloggers, social media influencers, and celebrities, to create valuable opportunities for SPARKS and its clients.
  • Continuously research and evaluate partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities that align with client objectives, presenting strategic recommendations to maximize brand exposure and ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging social media trends, leveraging insights to develop cutting-edge campaigns and promotional strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage day-to-day client responsibilities, including creating detailed PR activity reports, maintaining press and influencer databases, and providing expert support during client calls and meetings.
  • Spearhead the ideation and presentation of innovative, high-impact promotional concepts that leverage media, influencer, and celebrity collaborations to elevate client products and services.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for product launches, ensuring seamless execution and maximum market impact.
  • Orchestrate and manage successful press tours, including coordinating deskside appointments and facilitating meaningful connections between clients and key media contacts.
  • Maintain and regularly update extensive, segmented media lists for each client, ensuring targeted outreach and relevant communication.
  • Design and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, managing all follow-up correspondence to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Create tailored, newsworthy pitches highlighting client developments and product launches to secure media coverage, influencer partnerships, and celebrity endorsements.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify emerging influencers and complementary brands for upcoming campaigns, staying ahead of industry trends and opportunities.
  • Take a lead role in conceptualizing, planning, and executing client events, including both virtual and in-person activations, ensuring seamless experiences that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, effectively prioritizing and coordinating multiple complex initiatives simultaneously to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Provide strategic leadership across diverse projects, fostering team collaboration and driving results-oriented outcomes that align with overarching business goals.
