Marketing Intern
Job Summary:
As the Marketing Intern you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and execution of our marketing and brand management efforts across various channels. This dynamic position requires the ability to multi-task effectively in an environment that demands strict attention to detail. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will report directly to the Marketing Coordinator.
You will likely do a bit of everything but, this position would also allow for the chosen intern to pursue and take charge of their preferred area of interest within the company, whether that’s web design/management, social media management, print design, or something else.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events and meetings by identifying, coordinating and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contacts.
- Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
- Ensure a consistent brand message and image across all marketing channels.
- Coordinate professional photography for completed projects to be utilized for future marketing and sales campaigns.
- Support the maintenance and development of internal tools.
- Enhance social media utilization and oversee content creation.
- Management and continued development of PCC Sports website.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pursuing degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Communications or a related field.
- Creative work with skills in the Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience is required. Experience and proficiency in other Adobe programs is a plus
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to inform decisions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends and technologies.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
Physical and/or Travel Requirements:
- Typical office setting, mostly sitting at a desk. Frequent use of computer keyboard, monitor and telephone. Some standing, bending and lifting may be required, up to 20lbs.
- Ability to Travel occasionally
- Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass an annual motor vehicle record check.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen.
