AI Researcher

We are seeking a talented and analytical AI Researcher to join our team. This role is dedicated to monitoring emerging trends in specific given artificial intelligence research, curating lists of recently published papers from leading conferences and journals, and providing valuable resources for our research community. It will play a crucial role in keeping our team informed about cutting-edge developments and facilitating informed exploration and collaboration among researchers.

Key Responsibilities

Trend Monitoring: Continuously track and analyze emerging trends and advancements in various AI subfields, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and more.

Literature Curation: Compile and maintain comprehensive lists of recently published papers from top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL) and reputable journals.

Research Summaries: Develop concise summaries and insights for selected papers to aid researchers in quickly understanding key contributions and innovations.

Resource Distribution: Distribute curated paper lists and summaries to the research team and broader community through newsletters, internal platforms, or other communication channels.

Conference Tracking: Monitor upcoming AI conferences, workshops, and symposiums to anticipate new research directions and breakthroughs.

Collaboration: Work closely with research teams to understand their information needs and tailor trend monitoring efforts to support their projects and interests.

Reporting: Generate regular reports on AI research trends, significant publications, and potential areas for exploration to inform strategic research initiatives.

Tool Development: Develop and maintain tools or systems for efficient trend monitoring, literature tracking, and data analysis to enhance the effectiveness of research support.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred. 

Research Experience: Demonstrated experience in AI research, including familiarity with major AI conferences, journals, and publication standards.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information from diverse sources to identify meaningful trends and insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for summarizing and presenting research findings clearly and effectively.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using academic databases (e.g., IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, arXiv), literature management tools (e.g., Zotero, Mendeley), and data analysis software (e.g., Python, R).

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
