Platform Solutions Execution Management Summer Intern

The Platform Solutions Execution Management (“PSEM”) department sits at the forefront of the firm’s industry-leading initiatives to apply technology, quantitative analysis and data-driven methods to its execution process. The team leverages its analysis of the firm’s trading to advise decision-making at both the highest levels of the firm and at the very finest detail.

The Department is extremely dynamic and contains several areas who host high performing students. The different teams include: 

Content Solutions – Investment Research & Advisory 

This team builds 1x1 relationships with our Investment Professionals in order to best advise on content for their investment processes.  They also develop strategic relationships with content providers in order to deliver best-in-class access for the firm. Interns will support the team in building strong relationships with our IPs by way of observing, collecting, and organizing information on their investment processes and content needs.  Interns will perform analysis for various team projects to identify opportunities for optimization

 

Corporate Access Services – Relationship Building & Meeting Preparation 

The Corporate Access team helps to facilitate access to company management teams, both sell-side broker sourced and Millennium originated, for Millennium Investment Professionals to increase the quantity and quality of their industry meetings. Day-to-day, interns will be handling various databases and email correspondence, implementing internal and external communication channels and processes, coordinating internal meetings, preparing reports, and working to increase efficiencies

Sector Specialist Origination Team – Research & Analysis 

The Sector Specialist Origination Team fosters relationships and strengthens Millennium’s engagement with the management and investor relations teams of public companies.  This team serves as a vital resource for Portfolio Management (PM) teams, enhancing their investment processes and analytical work. Interns will gather and analyze company and market data and information, attend company, expert, sell-side and investment team meetings and discussions and prepare analysis for companies and investment teams. 

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • High performing students graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 interested in a future career at a top-tier investment firm
  • Studying towards a degree with a focus on Finance, Business, Economics, or Computer Science with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
  • Highly motivated with initiative and strong enthusiasm for investment analysis
  • Excellent analytical, superior communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong work ethic; effective both independently and as a collaborative team player
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and take direction
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; skilled in data manipulation
  • Able to think critically and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Intellectually curious and creative, seeking ongoing challenges and continuous improvement

 

The estimated annual salary for this position is $100,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
