Organization and Internship Description:
We are a non-profit dedicated to helping change and empower a child's life. We offer free camps and fun programs for children with Autism, underserved youth, and their families. Our vision is to respect every individual regardless of the differences between us.
We offer an internship as a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student's field of study or career interest. An internship gives a student the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills.
Kamp For Kids is dedicated to helping children with autism and their families by offering free programs and camps. We achieve our mission by offering direct assistance and facilitating programs for today's youth by celebrating parities and differences.
Internship Learning Objectives:
- Use Eventbrite to plan and manage events
- Keep spreadsheets for all upcoming events
- Seek Donors & Sponsorships
- Find media coverage for all events & send press releases
- Keep track of volunteers
- Learn Mentorship program

Duties:
- Help manage upcoming events
- Use Eventbrite to plan and manage events
- Keep spreadsheets for all upcoming events
- Seek Donors & Sponsorships

- Keep track of analytics
Qualifications:
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication: verbal and written
- Ability to complete tasks promptly
- Possess integrity and honesty
- PC coputer literacy, proficient in Word, Excel, and internet usage
- A positive attitude and a willingness to try your best.
Schedule:
- Most of the 10 hours must be completed within the traditional work week with some evening and weekend hours. Please list the evening or weekend hours below. -- M-F: 9am-9pm Sat/Sun: 9am-9pm
