Job Title: Sales/Marketing Intern 

Job description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales/Marketing Intern to join our team for 3 months. As a Sales/Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales, providing valuable learning opportunities while contributing to the overall sales goals of the company.

 

Job responsibilities:

  1. Contact Search: Identify relevant contacts from the listed companies using Apollo. Proper details and criteria will be provided to help identify the most suitable contacts.
  2. Email Outreach: Send introductory emails to the identified contacts.
  3. Tracking and Follow-Up: Maintain a record of sent emails and responses. For non-responsive contacts, send follow-up emails at appropriate intervals.
  4. Phone Follow-Up: Where phone numbers are available, follow up via phone calls.
  5. Coordination with Sales Team: Once positive responses are received, connect the contacts with the sales team for further engagement.
  6. Report Generation: Provide regular updates on outreach activities and response rates.

 

Experience:

  • Currently pursuing as a Senior or graduated with a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Apollo.IO / Zoominfo portals (preferred).
  • Eagerness to learn and develop sales skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, coordination skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Research Skills. Basic ability to use online tools and databases to identify and gather relevant contact information.
  • Communication Skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting and sending introductory emails, as well as conducting phone follow-ups.
  • Attention to Detail. Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contact information and email content.
  • Follow-Up Skills. Persistence and tact in following up with non-responsive contacts via email and phone.
  • Reporting Skills. Basic proficiency in generating regular updates and reports on outreach activities and response rates.

Education Requirements:

  • Pursing or recent graduate in Sales, Business Management or Marketing
