The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is a diverse team of passionate, education-focused professionals responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality of education for each of Ohio’s 1.7 million students. Major Responsibilities & Duties:

Under direction of the Associate Administrator, in the Office of Academic Success: 

  • Research evidence-based practices on high-quality instruction specific to all academic content areas with a priority on K12 mathematics
  • Research and summarize state and national initiatives and policies on K12 mathematics
  • Analyze data and summarize findings 
  • Present research results in written and graphical formats 
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholder engagement 
  • Communicate relevant and accurate information, clearly and concisely during formal or informal meetings 
  • Collaborate with others to accomplish goals  
  • Use various tools and technologies to prepare and share documents and reports  
  • Provide essential support such as arranging meetings, taking notes, and responding to routine inquiries 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

$20.00 per hour for undergraduate students

$24.00 per hour for graduate students
