Non-Profit Administration Intern: Spring 2025
Want to help vulnerable people right in your own community? Mitzvah Circle helps those who are homeless, underserved and who fall through the cracks of traditional services. We cut through red tape to get essential items into the hands of those who need them.
Our innovative non-profit seeks interns focused on non-profit administration. Our Non-Profit Administration Intern will assist with general administration including phone answering, emails, mailings, as well as helping manage data using our Salesforce system. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking real-world experience in various aspects of a non-profit organization. Interns will work with staff, volunteers, and other social service organizations under the guidance of our Office Manager.
We will provide a $500 stipend upon successful completion of the internship. We are happy to work with students toward academic credit.
This is an in-person position. All internships are in Montgomeryville/Lansdale, PA. You will need your own transportation. We will do background checks on all interns.
Our interns work a minimum of 8 hours a week. The hours are Mondays through Fridays 9:00am-1:00pm. You can choose the days that work best for you, but you need to work the full shift. Students must have completed at least their sophomore year of school with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The internship starts the week of January 13th, and you need to commit to stay until May 2nd even if you complete required hours sooner.
Mitzvah Circle provides concrete help by working directly with recipients, or with referring organizations, to fulfill specific needs, especially when other assistance options are exhausted. Mitzvah Circle joins in partnership with individuals, foundations, corporations, schools and other non-profit organizations that wish to provide community service, goods or financial support. Mitzvah Circle is not faith-based; we treat all people with kindness and compassion. We believe that changing the lives of people in need creates a better world for all.
