End User Compute Engineer Intern

Seeking students interested in gaining practical experience in technical support, reimaging laptops, project coordination, and healthcare IT.

  • Position: End User Compute Engineer Intern
  • Duration: January 27, 2025 - August 8, 2025
  • Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
  • Remote, based in Eastern Time Zone
  • Wage: $14/hour

The company is currently not authorized to support remote work employees in the following locations: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming. 

The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install software and hardware on laptops in remote work environment.
  • Work under general supervision to provide user support, technical assistance, and general computer problem analysis and resolution.
  • Responsible for maintaining laptop systems, troubleshooting internal system errors, running remote diagnostics.
  • Re -imaging computer hardware
  • Create user IDs and accounts

Tools intern will use: Zoom, Oracle, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Outlook email and calendar daily management.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year commitment preferred
  • Must have physical space to securely store several company laptops (One storage tote)
  • Comfortability building a PC and familiarity with hardware
  • Comfortability with Windows 10
  • Azure AD experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enjoy learning in a fast paced environment
  • Be legally eligible to work in the US and off-campus.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
