Junior Technical Recruiter
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is a progressive research and development company with a 30+ year legacy of providing innovative products and services to the government and private sectors. The Integrated Mission Systems Sector has a unique opportunity for a Junior Technical Recruiter to support our team by playing a vital role in recruiting top talent to join our Sector!
Primary duties will include working with our leadership team and HR Managers to identify organizational needs to review, edit, and post job requisitions. You will be responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates using multiple recruiting tools. Tasks also include candidate screening and setting up interviews as well as ensuring compliance during the interview process. You’ll also work to build and expand a pipeline of talent for future business needs and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates and third-party agencies.
This is an on-site/hybrid position, and the candidate is expected to reside in either Arlington, VA or the Raleigh, NC area with the ability to travel in order to come into the office during the training period and for support of meetings and recruiting events.
Junior Technical Recruiter Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree along with 0-2 years relevant work experience, equivalent professional experience (at least 6 years) will be considered for talented candidates without a degree
* Demonstrated knowledge or experience with recruiting in the following industries and fields:
+ Computer sciences
+ Engineering/Science
+ Technical Fields
* Strong communication skills are a must as well as being flexible and open minded to new ideas and collaborative feedback
* Effective interpersonal, time management and organization skills
* High attention to detail
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
Junior Technical Recruiter Preferred Experience:
* Prior UltiPro Recruiting ATS experience
* Previous experience working in Government and/or the Defense Industry
