JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at [Company Name]. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting guests as they arrive at the bar and providing excellent customer service
- Taking drink orders and making recommendations to customers
- Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Operating the cash register and handling cash and credit card transactions
- Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and handling cash responsibly
- Keeping the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and utensils
- Restocking the bar with supplies and inventory as needed
- Adhering to all safety and health regulations, including checking IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience at the bar
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a bartender is required
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and the ability to make recommendations to customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Weekend availability required
