What You’ll Do…
These positions are located at our R&D Facilities in Houston and Carrollton, Texas. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.
The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time hybrid internships. The summer 2024 internship is expected to begin on May 20, 2024.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Projects you could potentially work on include:
Design Cementing fluids and wellbore construction solutions, reservoir and/or wellbore fluid treatment and placement applications.
Use software tools to design wellbore treatment fluid for specific application conditions
Apply advanced testing method to evaluate cement slurry designs.
Assist in developing chemical products and processes.
Assist in designing and performing specialized tests, data acquisition and analysis
Assist in the preparation of detailed project plan and execute under the guidance of project leaders
Participate in resolving technical/operational questions with representatives of other organizations

Required Responsibilities:
Skills are typically acquired through participation in a Graduate program in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science or something similar
Acquaintance with laboratory experimentation and statistical data analysis

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.
Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.

Salary Range: $31 - $36/hour
