Human Resources Intern

General Job Summary:

The Human Resources Intern will support the daily administrative tasks of the human resources department including managing electronic files, supporting provider onboarding, answering phone calls/emails, preparing reports, and responding to employment verifications.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the provider onboarding.
  • Answers and directs departmental phone calls, faxes, and emails.
  • Sends HR documents via Adobe Sign and FedEx.
  • Help maintain electronic employee files in ADP WorkforceNow and the network shared drive.
  • Conducts regular file audits to ensure Federal I-9 Form compliance.
  • Prepares human resource reports (such as new hire and turnover).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:

       •    High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

       •    Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills: 

  • Strong customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, ADP WorkforceNow & Adobe Sign.
