Human Resources Intern
General Job Summary:
The Human Resources Intern will support the daily administrative tasks of the human resources department including managing electronic files, supporting provider onboarding, answering phone calls/emails, preparing reports, and responding to employment verifications.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with the provider onboarding.
- Answers and directs departmental phone calls, faxes, and emails.
- Sends HR documents via Adobe Sign and FedEx.
- Help maintain electronic employee files in ADP WorkforceNow and the network shared drive.
- Conducts regular file audits to ensure Federal I-9 Form compliance.
- Prepares human resource reports (such as new hire and turnover).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
• Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, ADP WorkforceNow & Adobe Sign.
