Overview

The Ranch, Larimer County’s premier event complex, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Temporary Event Operations Workers!

Be part of an exciting team that helps bring events to life! We’re seeking motivated individuals with flexible schedules who can work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Shifts may vary between mornings, afternoons, and late nights as we prepare for a variety of events. Responsibilities include setting up tables, chairs, staging, drapes, and occasionally assisting with A/V needs. General maintenance skills are a bonus, and prior experience is highly valued. The schedule for this position is flexible and typically ranges from 30-39 hours per week, spread over 4-5 days. The dress code is generally casual, there are occasional events where a more polished appearance is required. Professional grooming standards should always be maintained, including wearing clean, untorn clothing and ensuring neat, well-groomed hair.

Responsibilities

Specifically, this position:
 

  • Ensures that all event set-ups and tear-downs are completed.
  • Operates, maintains, adjusts, and repairs a wide variety of equipment; heavy equipment includes, but is not limited to, forklifts, water trucks, tractors, skid steer loaders, front-end loaders, boom lifts, scissor lifts and the movement, placement, and erection of materials used to produce customer events.
  • Supports events including facility cleanliness, stocking supplies, and janitorial services.
  • Conducts ground and general maintenance including but not limited to weed trimming, fence repair, mowing, cleaning horse stalls, general outdoor equipment repair.

We are looking for a candidate that will:
 

  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Set up tables, chairs, AV equipment, panels, chutes, and other equipment to meet the needs of the promoters.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Practice safe operations of a variety of hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance.

 

Qualifications

All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License preferred.
