Monitoring and Evaluation Intern

Internship Summary

Global Ministries is seeking a dedicated and motivated intern to join our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) unit. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research and literature review initiatives within our organization. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in M&E practices within the context of a dynamic faith based non-profit organization. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute meaningfully to our mission-driven initiatives while developing valuable skills in research, evaluation, and data analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough research and literature reviews on topics related to Disaster Response and Migration
  • Support the M&E team in gathering, organizing, and analyzing data for ongoing projects related to the Ukraine 2022 response
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of research findings.
  • Contribute to reports and presentations as required.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of M&E processes.

Qualifications/Specialized Knowledge

  • Pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree in [relevant field, such as International Development, Social Sciences, Global Health etc.].
  • Strong research skills with experience in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing information from various sources.
  • Familiarity with M&E methodologies and principles is an asset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or other statistical software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Working Conditions

  • Hours: 17 Hours Between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday), Flexible Start/Stop TBD
  • Location: Remote Internship
  • Overtime Eligible: No
