Medical Assistant

Looking for a Medical Assistant to work at a  Cardiology Practice in Grand Rapids. This would be a part-time opportunity (office hours are Monday through Wednesday and some Fridays). The ideal candidate should have amiable phone and front office communication skills and will be expected to become adept at computerized data entry and demonstrate an ability to acquire a good working knowledge of medical terminology and common lab tests. Ability to measure vital signs and take and record a medical history and perform medicine reconciliation as part of rooming patients for office visits would be expected. Proficiency in Phlebotomy would be plus (but can be learned on the job). Conscientiousness, curiosity, attention to detail, with a willingness to learn new things while participating in all aspects of office-based clinical care would serve the candidate well.
