Summer 2025 Internship, Marketing and Communications

Position Summary

As an Under Armour Rookie you’ll be given a hands-on, self-driven project that makes a real business impact. Throughout the 12 weeks you’ll work one-on-one with a mentor and have access to learning experiences, such as interactive Q&A sessions with our executives and professional development opportunities with our talent advisors. With our focus on cross-functional collaboration and global mindset, as a Rookie, you get to see how your work goes way beyond yourself.

Placement Area

Brand Marketing 
Marketing Rookies support the team in overseeing aspects of strategic planning towards future acquisitions, event planning and operations. They could be placed on Marketing teams such as Brand, Sports, Loyalty or Regional, or PR/Communications. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as: Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Communications, Public Relations, or MBA’s.  

Sports Marketing
The Sports Marketing Intern will collaborate with the team to manage athlete relationships, sponsorship activations, and event partnerships. You'll gain experience in brand representation within sports and athlete endorsement strategy. This internship is great for students studying Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.

Social Media
As a Social Media Intern at Under Armour, you'll support the team in executing campaigns across key platforms, creating engaging content, and driving brand awareness. This role provides hands-on experience in managing digital communities and tracking performance analytics. Ideal for students majoring in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or Business Administration.Communications

Communications
Communications Rookies are given a first-hand experience to contribute to our internal and external communication and engagement efforts. Projects will support advancement of Under Armour’s communications strategy and help deliver a compelling and cohesive company narrative. This role may work with a variety of global partners to shape messaging and ensure our teammates and external stakeholders are informed, engaged, and inspired. This opportunity might appeal to students with majors such as Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Media Studies, and Marketing.

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program (expected graduation between December 2025 - July 2026).
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Workplace Location

  • Baltimore, MD headquarters office.
  • Relocation assistance provided.
  • Hybrid or fully in-office work schedule.
