Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician
The National Park Service is currently hiring for the position of Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician. This awesome position is currently open (1 vacancy) at our Bar Harbor, Maine Location!
Duties
- Responsible for directing and supervising activities of subordinate staff executing fee collection duties.
- Fee collection duties may include: operating and troubleshooting equipment (e.g., point of sale systems, electronic cash register, credit card machine, and/or computer), collecting and accounting for fees, disseminating park/area information and literature.
- Serve as uniformed front-line representative of the park.
- Model best practices in performance of fee collection duties which include: collecting appropriate fees at entrance stations in accordance with accountability guidelines, issuance of various park passes in accordance with current interagency pass policy, tracking and securing accountable stock, and providing excellent customer service to the visiting public.
