Job Description:
We are excited to offer a Software / IoT Engineering Internship for Summer 2025! As an intern, you will support projects focused on machine software development, gaining hands-on experience and learning from our Digital Technologies Product Leader.
Term: Summer 2025 (May-August)
Location: This position offers the opportunity to work with BW Papersystems in Madison, WI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and insights for the engineering function under direct supervision in a learning capacity.
- Engage in assigned tasks to expand learning and bring fresh perspectives to software development projects.
- Collaborate with development teams to design business intelligence solutions for data gathering, storage, and retrieval.
- Participate in projects to help design, evaluate, and test data infrastructures and software systems.
- Analyze data to create dashboards, metrics, or insights, and identify trends or anomalies.
- Assist in developing user documentation and training materials.
- Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement by assisting with Lean philosophy development and coaching.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support ongoing projects.
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 1 year of completed coursework is required.
