Summer 2025 Intern, Novel Activity Analytics - Division of Supervision and Regulation

About the Role

 

Assigned projects may differ based on the skills and interests, but could include:

 

  • Monitoring and synthesizing developments in crypto-asset and fintech industries to report out to Fed leadership;
  • Conducting quantitative analysis of trends in crypto and fintech industries; and
  • Developing institutional profiles for non-supervised financial entities of interest to the Novel Activities Supervision Program.

 

Over the course of the internship, the student will:

 

  • hone their analytical and communication (written and oral) skills
  • develop subject matter expertise in banking, crypto-assets, and fintech

 

Suggested Major/Education: Economics, finance, business, computer science, or another related field of study

 

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience in research and quantitative analysis
  • Interest in banking, crypto-assets, and fintech
  • Intermediate or above experience in R, SQL, STATA, or Python

 

Anticipated Work Environment: This internship will be completed in a hybrid capacity in Washington, DC.

 

US Citizenship is required for all Board internships and applicants must be current students, graduating from their program Fall 2025 or later.
