Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Systems Integration Engineer Intern.

 

The Systems Integration Engineer Intern will assist their team with ensuring the system integration processes and activities of integrating hardware & software is completed for an electrification project. This person will be responsible for supporting fulfilling the system integration requirements and collaborating with the hardware and software teams throughout the product development process, including setting up, troubleshooting, and testing the products to complete system integration for electrification products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting development of system integration strategy.
  • Perform Hardware & Software testing & prepare results.
  • Supporting customer interface for any System Integration issues along with System Test Lead.
  • Participate in Peer Reviews of System Integration & Qualification Strategy and Test Specifications.
  • Interface and support System Test Engineers and Test Automation Engineers.
  • Supporting Bench definition/configuration required for Testing.
  • Supporting development of manufacturing programming process.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, majoring in Computer Science or Electrical
  • Engineering required
  • GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
  • Experience in Writing Test specifications on Requirements as well as Designs (Doors, Polarion, etc.).
  • Experience of different Type of Test Generation Methodology.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Experience with Matlab
