AssistSTEM
The College of Natural and Health Sciences (CNHS) is looking for students who would be willing to serve as members of AssistSTEM – an internal College-based unit consisting of upper division students who are interested in serving as mentors for undergraduate students pursuing majors/programs within the College of Natural and Health Sciences for the 2024-25 academic year.
To be considered, students must meet the following criteria:
1. Sophomore standing or higher (30 or more completed credits at UW-Parkside)
2. Must
a. Have a declared major/program within CNHS
b. Be pursuing a STEM, Professional Health or other related career field.
Selected students will be expected to hold regular, weekly meeting hours with students for the duration of the Spring semester. Training and regular supportive meetings will be provided. Pay rate is $12/hr.
