Community Solar Intern
Job Summary:
As a Community Solar Operations Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience by assisting our Community Solar team in managing operational tasks related to our solar development partners. You’ll be involved in ensuring the quality of customer enrollments, documenting processes, and contributing insights to improve our operations. Your role will include supporting sales reporting, subscription enrollments, and assisting with developer reporting. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about the community solar industry and develop skills in operations and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Enrollment:
- Assist in reviewing and correcting customer enrollment data for accuracy.
- Support the handling of enrollments using utility, developer partners, and program administrator platforms.
- Help monitor project fill rates and flag any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to document existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Subscriber Billing:
- Aid in ensuring subscribers are billed correctly and on time each month.
- Support the Billing department by addressing billing issues and assisting in the collection of subscription fees.
- Help with the oversight of automated member billing processes and manually generate subscriber statements when needed.
- Contribute to reporting on billing accuracy and completion.
Developer Reporting:
- Assist in preparing reports for developer partners.
- Track developer reporting metrics and help provide insights to the business.
- Support in improving and automating reporting processes.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the renewable energy sector, particularly community solar a plus.
