Manufacturing Project Manager

SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Project Manager has oversight of all aspects of any project going through our manufacturing facility. This role must ensure proper estimating, coordination of scope and changes with clients, maintaining the Production Schedule, help with problem solving, ensure project is running on time for on time delivery. The right candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. You’ll work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success, as well as work closely with the Manufacturing Management and staff to oversee all aspects of the project. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Manages key client projects, as well as smaller projects. 

 

Works directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

 

Coordinating and completing of projects on time within budget and within scope.

 

Oversees all aspects of projects from both the corporate office as well as the manufacturing floor.

 

Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.

 

Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

 

Collaborates with Corporate Operations Officer in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.

 

Works with project team in the development of financial and budgetary plans.

 

Analyzes current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.

 

Building and maintaining relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.

 

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

 

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
