Accounts Receivable Specialist Intern - Fall/Winter 2024

Are you looking for a career in business management or possibly sales? We are growing and seeking an intern for an Accounts Receivables Specialist (ARS) Internship position. This role entails reducing outstanding accounts receivables from hospitals, surgery centers, and OEM partners. Job responsibilities include all aspects of accounts receivables management, including navigating medical manufacturing partners' systems (primarily SAP) and employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Potential for growth includes a management position or pivoting to a sales role.

 

Specific functions include:

  • Managing and reducing outstanding accounts receivables.
  • Navigating and utilizing SAP and other ERP systems.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies for accounts receivable collections.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues.
  • Analyzing accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all collection activities and interactions.

Skills required:

  • Current College Student
  • Proficiency in using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills. (Must have strong phone presence with an upbeat outgoing personality)
  • Multitasking: The ability to simultaneously manage & move forward multiple tasks.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to develop and implement effective solutions to resolve billing issues.
  • Adaptive: The ability to modify strategies and tactics

Compensation:

$18/hour

Location: On-site in Warren, RI
