Duties

  • Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist (DATAMGT/INFOSEC) in the DLA Enterprise Information Services Directorate.
  • Serves as a primary Database Administrator (DBA) and provides database administration support for enterprise level database platforms primarily including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Leads a group of IT Specialists (DATAMGT/INFOSEC) engaged in providing database administration support for enterprise and corporate platforms primarily administering databases using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database management systems.
  • Responsible for participating in the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and deployment of systems governing and affecting the storage, security, retrieval, and integrity of the database management system.
  • Provides technical leadership for the database administration of enterprise applications, including applications interfacing with Agency enterprise applications.. providing expert technical guidance for the design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and maintenance and improvement of systems.
