Title:  English Language Development Teacher

Reports to: Principal of Multiple Buildings

Available:     ASA
Terms of Employment:  Full-Time 10-month, salary in accordance with PEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.  

Description:  

• Provide instructional services to English Learners of varying english skill levels (newcomer to advanced) and students with limited/interrupted formal education.
• Ability to co-teach and provide push-in support while developing strong working relationships with colleagues, parents and the community.
• Assess student eligibility for series and conduct progress monitoring.
• Participate in student-specific meetings to share data and strategies for student success.
• Preferably speaks Spanish as a second language.

Requirements:  Must possess current PA English as a Second Langauge Program Specialist Certification.

  • School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)

  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
