Post-Retirrement Benefit Adjustment Analyst

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Our Retirement Benefit Services Division (RBSD), Post Retirement Adjustment Unit is currently seeking a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) to perform a full range of post-retirement benefit calculations.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, this position is responsible for addressing post-retirement inquiries and calculating retirement benefits to ensure CalPERS retirees receive a timely and accurate benefit payment.

The SSA will be responsible for independently researching, analyzing, and completing a full range of benefit related assignments. This includes answering inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of a post-retirement adjustment, retirement date change, option change, beneficiary change, and retirement cancelations.
