24-05537 Resource Management Analyst III
The Office of Registration & Operations, Division of Operations has an opening for a Resource Management Analyst III position. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the Electronic Commerce Branch.
As a Resource Management Analyst III for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all activities related to the filing and processing of individual income tax returns.
1. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing knowledge and support to development staff as the individual income tax subject matter expert.
- Documenting and translating business needs and requirements to various technical staff.
- Creating and maintaining accurate schemas and file layouts required for processing individual income tax returns.
- Documenting changes made to individual income tax forms in respect to substitute forms and tax software review.
- Creating and maintaining the substitute forms guide for individual income tax.
- Maintaining the MeF (Modernized E-File) system, including auditing, staffing the help desk, testing changes, and troubleshooting issues related to individual tax returns in MeF.
- Working with other areas within the section or division when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
2. Additional / Supplemental information:
- Required to successfully complete a background investigation including an FBI criminal history record check (fingerprint check).
- Required to comply with all tax laws
- Mostly at a desk using a computer and telephone
- Some travel for training and education.

3. Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for one year of the experience requirement.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
