General Management Corporate Intern - Summer 2025
This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role. The Summer 2025 program will run June 2nd - August 8th, 2025. Virtual onboarding activities will also take place May 28th -30th, 2025.
CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. This role is specifically aligned to our Woonsocket, CT office. If you interested in opportunities in either Downers Grove, IL, Hartford, CT, or Houston, TX please apply into the appropriate requisition for that location. No housing or housing stipend will be provided, but interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. Relocation stipends will be provided for candidates that qualify.
The hourly rate is $23/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

Examples of past internship projects include:
- Created and distributed a survey to front-line colleagues to gain stronger perspective into repeat call root causes, supervisor relationships, and team culture to improve both colleague and member experience
- Developed Tableau and Microsoft Power BI dashboards used to audit consistent full-time employee (FTE) variances of approximately 5% (~2,000 employees) annually and to improve the FTE budgeting process by enabling Aetna to unlock free cash flow and re-allocate an estimated $200MM to growth opportunities.
- Created a standardized email automation process utilizing Microsoft Power Automate to alert data owners of deadlines on a fixed schedule, eliminate the need for manual email messages, and reduce distribution timeframes by 100%.
- Presented to upper-level leadership a recommendation for in-store kiosks and mobile app integration to safely transition customers back to retail stores in a post-COVID environment
- Analyzed 12,000 post-call survey results for trends in repeat call rates and behavioral health service offer rates to provide training opportunities for front line colleagues and improve overall member experience/satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
- Meet educational requirements (see education section)
- Have a willingness to relocate to the office locations listed above
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
- Be outcomes-focused and a collaborative team member
- Have internship or work experience in related fields such as business or healthcare
- Have an interest in joining our full-time General Management -Development Program within CVS Health upon graduation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Education :
- Currently pursuing Bachelors, Masters*, or MBA* (Note: Masters and MBA students will be considered if they began their Master’s or MBA degree program degree within 18 months of obtaining their bachelor’s degree)
- Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2025 and August 2026
- Have a major in one of the following fields business, management, healthcare management, finance/accounting, economics, public health, health sciences, leadership studies, marketing, human resources, communications, psychology, or sociology
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
