Position Summary
ADM is seeking a driven Commercial Trainee to gain valuable exposure and training in key areas such as prospecting, customer discovery, quoting, negotiation, market intelligence, product applications, and sales and marketing activities. This role is designed for individuals with the ambition and capability to advance into elevated positions within the organization, such as field sales, product management, technical management, or marketing, with the flexibility for future relocation.
Job Responsibilities
- Account Management: Manage accounts from quote to delivery and provide post-sale support.
- Customer Inquiries: Handle initial phone and web inquiries, providing basic support and directing to appropriate channels.
- Prospecting & Sales: Identify potential customers, close deals, and meet sales targets.
- Sample & Document Management: Coordinate product samples and technical documents, capturing relevant data.
- Product Promotion: Sell core products while promoting ADM’s full range, leveraging internal networks for cross-selling.
- CRM Management: Maintain Salesforce.com with daily activity logging, pipeline updates, and customer notes.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, track market trends, and support product management.
- Customer Solutions: Understand customer needs, demonstrate product usage, and resolve queries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to drive growth and profitability.
- Market Segment Management: Monitor and report on market segment activity and trends.
Who We’re Looking For
- Education: Pursuing a 4-year degree in business, finance, economics, supply chain management , and Merchandising with expected graduation in 2025.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate across the U.S. as part of the program.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills.
- GPA: Minimum GPA of 2.8
