About the Paid Internship Program:
Our internship program is designed to give you hands-on experience in the fast-paced restaurant industry while developing critical skills in management, operations, and customer service. Over the course of this program, interns will gain insight into the full scope of restaurant operations, from working on the front lines with our customers to managing daily business activities.
As an Intern in Restaurant Operations Management at Waffle House, you'll:
Shadow a Restaurant Operations Manager:
- Interns will gain hands-on experience by working closely with a manager who runs the business. They’ll learn about:
- Day-to-day operations
- Managing teams
- Handling financials
- Assist in conducting interviews
- Payroll
- Scheduling of employees
- inbound and Outbound of product
- Growing a business
In addition to shadowing an Operations Manager, interns will have the opportunity to:
- Learn from other leadership positions across the company with salaries ranging from $63,000-$138,000+
- Gain a well-rounded understanding of how our business operates at every level

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university (Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
