Entry-Level Architectural Position

Job Summary

This entry-level professional position is ideal for individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree or licensure track in architecture. The selected candidate will work on tasks that involve applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to a series of related architectural projects, all under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of architectural design, plan and other related documents for buildings and other structures according to the direction provided by Architect.
• Prepare preliminary designs, specifications and cost estimates for buildings and other structures according to the direction provided by Architect.
• Review and research building code requirements, product literature, and analyze materials and their appropriateness for applications to projects according to the direction provided by Architect.
• Review and coordinate the design elements of other design disciplines, including consultants and equipment and material suppliers according to the direction provided by Architect.
• Maintain records and correspondence related to the work according to the direction provided by Architect.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Professional Degree from a NAAB accredited program or other licensure track approved professional accredited degree.
• Experience is preferred, but not required.
• Professional written and oral communication skills is a strong plus.
• General knowledge of engineering, construction, and related disciplines.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Team player with unselfish problem-solving skills.
• Strong CAD skills.
• 3D digital modeling skills are a plus.
