Training Coordinator Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Training Coordinator Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.


This role will play an important part in the continuing development of the department. The individual that fills this role must be able to work independently but also as a collaborative member of the training team. Our goal is to provide engaging and fun training opportunities designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of our Microcontamination workforce.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain the Training Calendar
• Schedule and monitor training sessions
• Generate notifications of upcoming training
• Ensure the training venue is booked and prepped for the training session
• Send pre-course information to participants
• Collaborate with team members to ensure training material is up to date
• Assist with the development of training support materials
• Print out training support materials
• Record training attendance
• Produce training reports in Excel and Learning Management Systems
• Develop and maintain department KPIs
• Maintain employee training records
• Convey notifications of upcoming training requirements
• Provide general administrative assistance to training manager and trainers
• Generate feedback forms
• Collating details from feedback form and presenting to the training manager and/or trainer
• Participate in projects to create OJT forms for various tasks and creating Job Instruction Breakdown Sheets for training

• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
• Power BI skills a plus
• Experience with Teams and other virtual platforms
• Work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Be proactive
• Have problem solving abilities
• Flexible and adaptable

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

An interest in corporate and operational training, marketing background

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Business degrees, marketing preferred
