Production Engineer (Slurry) Co-Op

The Role:
Our site in Aurora, IL is seeking a Slurry Production Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What You’ll Do:

• In this co-op role, you will aid in producing results that are consistent with overall site needs and meet customer demands.
• Assist Process Engineers in creating and updating critical documentation such as Response Flow Checklists, Batch Cards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other process-related documents.
• Identify and manage risks that can disrupt business operations and affect reliability, driving improvements to asset utilization and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Six Sigma training
• Minitab, JMP
• SolidWorks or On-shape
• Gen AI/ML

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, graduating in Spring 2025 or later

 

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
